The fact that no NBA team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit says it all. Also, no team coached by Phil Jackson has ever been in a 3-0 hole, so I dont know if hell handle the situation very well. Jackson is a terrific coach, but hes a front-runner. His championships all came with the best player in the NBA and, in a few cases, maybe 2 of the best 5 on his team. As I wrote in my NBA playoff preview, the Lakers had all sorts of problems late in the season. They battled through that against the Hornets, who were missing their leading scorer, but they havent been able to do that in an evenly matched series against the Mavericks. If you want hope for the Lakers, its that Kobe Bryant has an incredible will to win. But its not going to happen. (And if it does happen, I can brag that I picked the Lakers in 7 games.)
